Hanjun Kim is an architectural designer and educator based in London, specialising in computational design methodologies. He is an associate at SoomeenHahm Design, a course tutor on the Architectural Association Design Research Lab (AADRL) Master’s programme, and a lecturer at Oxford Brookes University. In addition, he teaches computational modules at UCL Bartlett B-Pro and has delivered lectures at various institutions, including London South Bank University, Hongik University, Seoul National University, and the AA Visiting School Seoul. He holds a Master’s degree from the AADRL and a Bachelor’s degree from Hongik University in South Korea.

Hanjun’s academic and professional work focuses on computational and generative approaches to architecture, particularly the augmentation of spatial perception through human–technology interaction. His research investigates the transformative effects of visual modulation on architectural experience. Current projects further extend this inquiry by integrating Artificial Intelligence and Augmented Reality into architectural design practice. This body of work encompasses a broad spectrum of disciplines, including digital art, algorithmic design, AI-generated concept art, furniture and interior design, architectural design, and urban-scale strategies.

김한준은 런던을 기반으로 활동하는 건축 디자이너이자 교육자로, AA의 석사 과정인 DRL의 Course Tutor이자 옥스포드 브룩스 대학교(Oxford Brookes University)에서 겸임 교수로 활동하고 있습니다. 또한 SoomeenHahm Design의 소장이자, UCL 바틀렛(Bartlett) B-Pro 과정에서 컴퓨테이셔널 모듈을 지도하고 있습니다. 이 외에도 런던 사우스 뱅크 대학교, 홍익대학교, 서울대학교, AA 비지팅 스쿨 서울 등 다양한 교육 기관에서 강의를 진행해 왔습니다. AADRL에서 건축학 석사 학위를, 홍익대학교에서는 학사 학위를 취득하였습니다.

주로 건축에서 컴퓨테이셔널 및 제너레이티브 디자인 방법론을 심도 있게 다루며, 특히 인간과 기술의 상호작용을 통한 공간 지각의 확장에 중점을 두고 있습니다. 시각적 변주가 건축적 경험에 미치는 변화와 영향력을 탐구하며, 인공지능(AI)과 증강현실(AR)을 건축 디자인 실무에 적극적으로 접목하며 연구의 범위를 넓혀가고 있습니다. 그의 작품 세계는 디지털 아트, 알고리즘 디자인, AI 생성 컨셉 아트, 가구 및 인테리어 디자인, 건축 설계, 그리고 도시 규모의 전략에 이르기까지 폭넓은 분야를 아우릅니다.
