The theme of AA Visiting School Beijing 2017 was “Invent(ory) @ Fact(ory)”, which essentially investigates the meaning of data to design innovation upon the emerging knowledge pragmatically.
The workshop initialized design projects on the basis of the current status of Beijing 751, an abandoned factory that is becoming another art park next to the famous Beijing 798.
In the unit, we used object oriented scripting languages to generate a series of geometries. The algorithm was based on cellular automata, mathematic growth logic imbedded, and Virtual Reality. UNITY 3D and C# are mainly used to develop projects
